October beauty favorites and MORE! :)

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Wednesday afternoon! I wanted to share with you my makeup favorites for October and also my favorite fragrance for this month as well. Lets get started:

1. Hard Candy Sheer Envy skin perfecting face primer-This primer wins yet again! I have used up 3 tubes of this and I absolutely LOVE it! It sells for $8 at Walmart.

2. Wet n Wild color icon blush in Mellow Wine-This is one of my most recent purchases and I have been LOVING it! Its so pretty and very pigmented, I enjoy this blush alot! I've been wearing it in my everyday makeup routine :) you can get this at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart for $2.

3. Wet n Wild color icon eyeshadow single in Nutty-This is another of my most recent purchases and OMGosh I'm not sure how I did my makeup everyday without this shade! Its gorgeous and it looks absolutely STUNNING as a crease color! I've been wearing this also in my everyday makeup routine. You can pick this up for $1.99 at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart.

4. Wet n Wild color icon eyeshadow single in Brulee-This is yet another of my most recent purchases and yet again this is SO GORGEOUS! I've been using this as a highlight under my brows and it is just amazing! Its so creamy and buttery plus it blends so well and I just LOVE it! Again you can get this for $1.99 at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart.

5. Wet n Wild color icon eyeshadow trio in Silent Treatment-This is a great eye palette! I've had this for quite some time but I've just never been able to incorporate this palette into my everyday eye look. Well, that all has changed :) I've been using the light lilac/purple shade that says "eyelid" on my lids, then blending Nutty into the crease and then topping it off with Brulee under the brows. OMGosh, it looks so gorgeous combined with those shades I have now found a new use for the palette! You can get this for $4.99 at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart.

6. Almay One Coat get up and grow mascara-Wow! This mascara is AMAZING! I have been using this everyday and I'm so happy that I FINALLY found a mascara that gives my lashes volume and length, WITHOUT CLUMPING!!!! Yay! So pleased with this mascara! You can get this at Ulta, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart for $7.49.

7. Sei Bella Tinted Moisturizer in Fawn #8877-Time and time again this has made it to my favorites list I think every month. This is a great tinted moisturizer and I've been using this everyday! Its great for wearing in the Fall/Winter time because if you have oily skin like I do, you can wear this and not feel like an oil slick at the end of the day. I get this from www.melaleuca.com for $27. I've gone through 2 tubes of this so far, but yet it lasts FOREVER so if you get this keep that in mind :)

8. Sigma Complete kit-Holy Cow! I don't know where I've been lately, but I just purchased this kit and it is AMAZING! All the brushes are so incredibly soft and they apply my makeup so flawlessly! I was so shocked at how amazing my makeup looked after using these brushes and ever since then these are the only brushes I use! Good quality brushes are a must-have! I've been using this cheap kit that I got for around $19 for over a year and they worked fine, but they definitely showed their cheapness over the past year or so that I've used them. So I finally broke down after much researching and looking at reviews and I purchased the complete kit! This sells for $89 at www.sigmabeauty.com

9. Sigma F80 flat kabuki brush-Again, holy cow! I've used this to apply my foundation everyday and wow! what a difference one brush makes. It applies foundation so flawlessly and blends everything so well, I am just IN LOVE with this brush! :) This sells for $16 at www.sigmabeauty.com

10. Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in Rose Pearl-This is a great fall shade! I am so in love with this lipgloss, its crazy! The great thing about Revlon lipglosses that I love is that they are never sticky and they apply and feel so smooth. I have 4 of the revlon lipglosses and I LOVE them! They are so amazing, but this is the shade that I have been reaching for everyday. You can pick this up at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart and Ulta for $6.49.

11. Slatkin and Co. 3 wick candle in Peach Bellini-I went to Bath and Body works over the weekend because I had a GREAT coupon for the 3 wick candles! Instead of them being $19.50 by using the coupon they were only $10!!! I ended up getting two of these in the same scent because it smells so good! I'm burning one right now and its just filling my room with a sweet, soft and elegant scent! I am LOVING this right now and this is by far my favorite scent out of all my candles!

(FYI-my grandma made these candle holders to match the colors of my room, the candles come llike this normally:)

Well, thats it for my October Beauty and fragrance favorites! I hope y'all enjoyed this and I'll be blogging again soon! Have a great evening everyone! :)

I love drugstore makeup tag!! :)

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a fantastic Friday afternoon! I wanted to share with y'all this "I love drugstore makeup" tag that emilynoel83 aka Emily Eddington (www.beautybroadcast.net) has so sweetly tagged me to do this :) So lets get started:

1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand? My favorite drugstore makeup brand would have to be Wet n Wild. The reason being is that their eyeshadows are amazing! They are so richly pigmented and they blend really easy :)

2. What are your favorite face, cheek, and lip products? As far as face products go I would have to say my favorite face product would have to be my Sei Bella Tinted Moisturizer in Fawn number 8877. I have gone through 2 tubes of this so far and it lasts for a really long time without drying out or getting liquidy on me. For my favorite cheek products I would have to say that Wet n Wild wins again! I LOVE their blushes because once again the pigmentation is awesome! And lastly for my favorite lip products I would have to say it would be Revlon, the reason being is because the lip glosses are not at all sticky and they feel great on your lips. Their lipsticks are very moisturizing and they are very smooth.

3. Least favorite product? My least favorite product that I've tried would have to be maybelline line stellito mascara. It was absolutely horrible! As soon as I took it out of the package and opened it, it smelled like lacquer! It was so bad that it gave me a headache and I took it back to the store. If any of you love this mascara thats great, it just didn't work for me.

4. What is the best makeup bargain? I would have to say the best makeup bargain would be when wet n wild was having their buy 1 get one free sale a few weeks ago and I ended up getting 4 wet n wild products for $3.00! Great buy!

5. What is your favorite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?) I would have to say my Almay one coat get up and grow mascara! I LOVE this mascara, it gives me volume with my lashes and lengthens them without clumps! FINALLY, I found a mascara that doesn't clump and still gives me volume and length! A review will be coming on this mascara soon :)

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced? A drugstore makeup product that I think is overpriced would have to be face primer. I think it could be a lesser price because I pay $8.00 for Hard candy face primer and I think you could knock it down a little, it's not that expensive but it's still a little overpriced it my opinion.

7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!! I found a drugstore dupe for MAC's lipstick in Creme cup which is Maybelline colorsensational lipstick in born with it. MAC's lipstick sells for $14.50 and I paid $7.49 for the maybelline lipstick. Next, I found a face primer from Hard Candy that I think is a dupe for Smashbox photo finish light face primer and even better than Smashbox. Its Hard Candy sheer envy skin perfecting face primer, I pay $8.62 for the Hard Candy face primer and I had paid $15.00 for the Smashbox face primer.

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype? The drugstore product that I think isn't worth the hype is the Lo'real extra volume collagen volumious mascara. I bought it a while back and it applies very heavy and clumpy. It didn't work for me the way I thought it would and its kind of disappointing to me.

Well, thats it for my I love makeup tag! I tag all of my readers to do this tag! It was very fun for me to do and I enjoy seeing what other people think about drugstore makeup products. I hope you all enjoyed this and I'll be blogging again soon! Have a great night everyone! :)

The new influenster.com!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Monday morning! I wanted to share with you my review on the BRAND NEW RELAUNCH of www.influenster.com. Influnster is a site where you do surveys and other things to earn "badges" and the chance to be entered to win a "voxbox" filled with beauty goodies and other awesome stuff! I love the new site! I think its much easier to navigate around and you can see your "points" from all the badges you've earned and the brand challenges you've done.

I am really impressed with them! I've gotten my voxbox for this month already and reviews will be coming soon on all the products I recieved in the October Beauty Bloggers 2012 Voxbox. This is my second time getting a voxbox and I am loving them because you get to try out products and then review them. Then you tell influenster what you thought of the products you loved and which ones you didn't love so much.

This site is a great way to test out new products without having to pay a dime! These voxboxes are FREE and they are sent to you based on how many badges and things you have. Once you are considered for one, you do a survey and they will email you if you are one of the lucky ones to receive a box!

So anyways, I strongly suggest you sign up for Influenster and see what you think of them! Here's the link: www.influenster.com

Have a great day everyone! :)

I am so very excited that I was able to finally get this kit and I am so happy to finally have some good quality brushes!! I have another set of 12 brushes with a brush roll that I paid $18.75 for off of www.bundlemonster.com and I felt after using them for a while that the quality was just horrid unfortunately. Now that set was my first ever set of brushes so I wanted cheap but good quality and unfortunately they turned out to be cheap and bad quality. But anyways, I am very excited about these Sigma brushes and be watching for tutorials where I'll be using them coming very soon :)

Well, thats it! If you want to know where I got these Sigma brushes go to www.sigma.com :) I hope y'all have a great night and I'll be blogging again soon! :)

I'm sorry its been a few days since I last have blogged, but I've had family at my house over the past week so I haven't been online much since they were here. Anyways, yesterday I went to CVS because Wet n Wild was having a buy 1 get 1 FREE sale!! I got two nail polishes, a blush and a lipstick for $3.00!!! I had a $3 extrabucks reward from a previous shopping trip, so I was able to use that and with the sale I got the blush free and one of the polishes for free!!!! Here are pictures of what I bought and swatches of the lipstick and blush:

The first product I got was Wet n Wild Megalast nail polish in Disturbia.

Next, I got Wet n Wild colorburst blush in Mellow Wine

And the last product I got was Wet n Wild Megalast nail polish in I need a Refreshmint

OPI nail polish in German-icure review!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are doing well tonight, I wanted to share with you my thoughts on OPI's Germany collection that I got from a contest that I won back in August I believe. I have been wearing the shade German-icure for a week now and it is just starting to chip. So I am very pleased with this polish, because the drugstore polishes I've tried (Sinful Colors, Sally Hansen, etc.) have chipped within a day or two of me applying them!

Here's a picture of when I first applied it:

The color appears brownish in the shade, but when you get in the sunlight it turns into this gorgeous red color. It has some shimmer in it and so the sun catches that and makes it just so pretty! I am anxious to try the other colors that I have, but so far I am loving them! I mean for $8.50 each regularly, I think they better be super good for that price :) Just sayin' ;)

Anyways, so my review is simply that it stands up very well and doesn't chip the second I apply it. And I think it wears a really long time, I mean I've had this on for 7 days and it is still holding up fairly well. Despite a couple nails that are pretty chipped, the rest all look pretty decent. So overall, I am very pleased with OPI! :D

Well, thats it for my review of this OPI polish in German-icure! Be watching for more reviews of the other colors I have. Have a great night everyone and I'll be blogging again soon! Also, be watching for some tutorials coming soon! :)

Manicure Monday!

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great Monday night. I just wanted to share with you the manicure that I applied today using one of the OPI Germany nail polish collections. Lets get started:

So the first thing I did was I applied Wet n Wild clear nail protector as a base and top coat. After I applied my base coat and let that dry, I applied my first coat of OPI nail lacquer in German-Icure. This shade is a brownish color but once you get in sunlight it turns red because it has red sparkles in it. Very pretty color I think! Anyways, after the first coat dried I applied my second coat. Finally, after the second coat dried I applied the wet n wild clear nail protector once again to my nails as a top coat.

And thats it!! I hope you enjoyed this short nail tutorial and I'll be blogging again soon!! Have a great night everyone!! :) Here's the color that I used:
