Wet n Wild Knock on wood eyeshadow tutorial...

Good morning everyone! I hope y'all are having a fabulous day so far! I wanted to share with you a tutorial I just created using another Wet n Wild palette called "knock on wood". As you all know, wet n wild is my favorite eyeshadow brand because the pigmentation of their shades is AMAZING! So lets get into the tutorial...

FACE:

  • Smashbox photo finish light face primer
  • Milani multi-tasker face powder
  • Sei bella tinited moisturizer in fawn
  • Benefit hervana Blush
  • Rimmel natural bronzer in sunlight

EYES:

  • Too faced shadow insurance
  • Maybelline color tattoo cream eyeshadow in bad to the bronze
  • Wet n wild knock on wood eyeshadow palette
  • L.A. Girl fine line liquid eyeliner pen
  • Lo'real voluminous extra volume collegen mascara in black/brown

LIPS:

  • Revlon colorburst lip butter in Pink truffle

Here's the eye tutorial:

So the first thing I did was I primed my eyes with too faced shadow insurance and I let that dry for 10 seconds. Then I took my maybelline color tattoo cream eyeshadow in bad to the bronze and I patted that all over my lids. Next, I took my wet n wild color icon eyeshadow trio in knock on wood and taking a flat eyeshadow brush I applied the plum shade that says "eyelid" to my lids. Then I took a crease brush and applied the dark brown shade that says "crease" to my crease and I blended that out. Taking the same crease brush I applied the lighter pink/purple shade that says "browbone" to my browbone and I blended that out. Next, I applied my L.A. girl fine line liquid eyeliner pen in black to my upper lash line. Finally, to complete my eye look I applied lo'real voluminous extra volume collegen mascara in black/brown to my upper and lower lashes. And to complete my entire look, I applied revlon colorburst lip butter in pink truffle to my lips.

And thats it! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope you will try this look out! Keep your eyes out for more tutorials and reviews coming soon! Have a great day everyone!

Lo'real Voluminous Extra Volume Collegen Mascara review....

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic Monday morning! I just wanted to share with a review on the Lo'real Voluminous extra volume collegen mascara. I've been trying this mascara for a couple weeks and I really like it! I LOVE the applicator! Lets get into the "pros" and "cons" of this mascara...

Pros:

  • Great applicator
  • Nice packaging
  • Doesn't flake
  • Long-wearing
  • Easy to remove
  • Separates my lashes nicely
  • Gives nice volume
  • Doesn't smudge

Cons:

  • Makes my lashes a little clumpy

So that would be my only con about this mascara is that it clumps my lashes a little. But other than that it is a great mascara! Here are the claims from the packaging:

The Hyrda-Collegen Complex Formula claims:
  • Gives volume instantly
  • Glides on smoothly and lasts all day
  • 12 times more impact

The instant impact brush claims:

  • 50% bigger than the classic brush
  • Uniquely shaped to reach lashes from corner to corner, for instant extreme volume
  • Clump-free
  • Flake-free
  • Smudge-free
  • Opthalmologist & allergey tested
  • Suitable for contact lens wearers & people with sensitive eyes
  • Removes easily with soap and water

So those are all the claims that it gives on the back of the packaging. I got this mascara at CVS for $6.99 and my shade I got is black brown number 685. I picked up two of these mascaras and the other one I just noticed I got in blackest black. Overall I agree with the claims it makes accept for that it says its clump free. Its pretty much clump free but there are some clumps that I see with my lashes. But other than that one con, its a fantastic mascara! So I hope y'all enjoyed this review and I'll be blogging again probably sometime this week :) Have a great day everyone!

Coastal Scents 88 Warm palette eyeshadow tutorial....

Hey everyone! Happy earth day! I hope y'all are having a fantastic day! I know it has been a while since I blogged, but things have been very busy. I had my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday so I'm still recovering from that surgery, but I wanted to share with you an eyeshadow tutorial using Coastal Scents 88 Warm palette! So lets get into the tutorial.....

FACE:

  • Smashbox Photo Finish Light face primer
  • Milani Multi-tasker face powder
  • Sei Bella Tinted moisturizer in fawn
  • Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sunlight

EYES:

  • Too Faced Shadow insurance
  • Maybelline color tattoo cream eyeshadow in Tough as Taupe
  • Coastal Scents 88 Warm palette
  • Maybelline master drama eyeliner pencil in Vibrant Violet
  • Lo'real Voluminous Extra Volume Collegen Mascara in blackest black

LIPS:

  • Revlon colorburst lip butter in Peach Parfait

So the first thing I did was I primed my eyes with too faced shadow insurance and I let that dry for 10 seconds, then I took maybelline color tattoo cream eyeshadow in tough as taupe and applied that all over my lids. Then I went straight to my coastal scents 88 warm palette and using a flat eyeshadow brush, I took a shimmery pinky/peach shade (this shade is in the 9th row and two shades from the top of that column) and applied that over the top of the maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow all over my lids. Then I went back to my 88 warm palette, taking a crease brush and I applied matte medium brown/taupe shade to my crease (this shade is in the 8th row and three shades down from the top of that column) and I blended that all out. Then I took my maybelline master drama eyeliner pencil in vibrant violet and I lined my upper lash line. To complete my eye look I applied lo'real voluminous extra volume collegen mascara in blackest black to my top and bottom lashes. Finally, to complete the entire makeup look I applied revlon colorburst lip butter in peach parfait to my lips.

And thats it! Its really simple and easy. Very natural for the daytime :) I hope y'all enjoyed this tutorial and I hope you will try it out! Keep your eyes out for more reviews and tutorials coming soon! A review on the lo'real voluminous extra volume collegen mascara will be coming hopefully this week, so watch for that :) Have a great day everyone!

A review will be coming on the Lo'real extra volume collegen mascara that I used today very soon. So keep your eyes out for that and I hope y'all have a fabulous night! :)

Jergen's Natural Glow Revitalizng lotion review...

Hey Everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday afternoon! I just wanted to share with you a quick review on the Jergen's Natural Glow Revitalizing Lotion. First of all, this is a body lotion and in 1 week its supposed to make you have a "natural glow" to your skin. Well, I applied this on my body this morning and I couldn't handle the VERY strong perfume like smell! Its a really strong scent and so I returned it to CVS. I just didn't like it and it also left this feeling that I had something on my skin. Normal lotions soak into your skin so you don't feel that, but this one just left that feeling for some reason.

So bottom line, I didn't like it unfortunately. So if any of you have tried a sunless tanner and you liked it please let me know. That would be much appreciated. Have a great day everyone!

CVS Haul!!

Hey Everyone! So I just got back from CVS doing some coupon shopping and I wanted to share with you what I purchased. So lets get started...

The first thing I purchased was Jergen's Natural Glow revitalizing lotion for fair to medium skin tones for $8.99. I wanted a "bronzer" for my body because I'm really light in the springtime and since summer is coming I want to look tan, so I thought I'd try this out. I purchased 2 of these and used my CVS extra-bucks worth $7.00 and I used another coupon I had for Jergen's worth $3.00. So I ended up getting both lotions for $8.83 with coupons and tax. So for this purchase I saved $11.60!

The second thing I purchased was another Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait. I really like this color, its a nice pinky color but not too "in your face". Its a very natural looking pink. I also bought 2 of these because they were buy 1 get 1 50% off and I used 2 $1.00 off revlon coupons and I used a $10.00 extra bucks coupon I got from purchasing the Lo'real mascaras. So for this purchase I ended up paying $1.00 for both! And on this purchase I saved $15.90!

Next I picked up 4 new Lo'real Paris Mascaras, they are: Lo'real Paris extra volume collegen mascara in blackest black (I picked up 2 of these), Lo'real Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in blackest black, Lo'real Paris Telescopic Explosion mascara in blackest black. I used 4 Lo'real $1.00 off ooupons and a $5.00 extra bucks coupon I got from purchasing the Jergen's lotions. So I ended up paying $21.13 for all 4 mascaras. I saved on this purchase $20.40!

Lo'real Voluminous Extra-volume Collegen Mascara

Lo'real Telescopic Explosion Mascara

Lo'real Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara

Well, thats it for my haul! I hope you guys enjoyed this and I'll have reviews on these products as soon as I try them out for a few days. Have a great night everyone!

Physician's Formula Nude eyes eyeshadow palette review...

Hey Everyone! Happy Easter! Jesus is risen today! I hope y'all are having a wonderful Easter Sunday with your families. I wanted to share with you a review on Physician's Formula nude eyes eyeshadow palette. Lets get started...

Ok, so first of all this palette is gorgeous! The shades are so pretty and I believe that this is a dupe for the very expensive Urban decay naked 2 palette! So lets weigh the "pros" of this palette first:

Pros:

  • Really pretty colors
  • Great shade selection
  • Packaging is ADORABLE!
  • Inexpensively priced
  • Very travel-friendly

Now for the "cons" of the palette:

Cons:

  • Pigmentation isn't great

I love this palette overall except for that the pigmentation isn't wonderful. I really have to sweep my brush over the color I want numerous times before I feel that I get good color pay off. I guess I'm just used to the AMAZING pigmentation of the Wet n Wild palettes, so I was somewhat disappointed in the Physician's Formula palette because of that lack of pigmentation. But overall, its a really great palette and I suggest that every woman should have this palette in their collections! And honestly, the pros outweigh the cons so I can deal with a lack of pigmentation for all the positive things about this palette.

Well, thats it for my review of the Physician's Formula nude eyes palette! I hope y'all enjoyed this review and I hope you will pick this palette up. You can purchase this at CVS and Ulta, I picked mine up at CVS when they had their 40% off sale last month so I was able to get it for only $7.29! Its normally priced at $11.29, so I thought that was a great price! Have a great night everyone! Keep your eyes out for more reviews and tutorials coming soon! :)

Coastal Scents 88 Warm eyeshadow palette review!!

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday afternoon! Today, I wanted to share with you a long overdue review of Coastal Scents 88 warm eyeshadow palette. I bought this palette last year with some birthday money and I have to say I'm LOVING this palette!! For $24.95 you get 88 gorgeous shades! Anywhere from cream shades to satin to matte to shimmer shades, this palette has it all! I've only used a few shades, but each of the colors are great!

Ok, so over to the far left of the palette you can see that there a mixture of white and silvery shades. Then in the next column you see more peachy and some green shades, also at the end of the third row on the left you can see that there is a great matte black. Next, in the fourth and fifth columns you see that there are more warm brown shades and some purple shades. As you move through the palette towards the far right of the palette, you get into some dark brown and plum shades. In the palette there are about half matte shades and the rest are shimmer, satin and cream shades.

Overall, I LOVE this palette! For the price, its a great buy! The staying power of these shades is great! I apply with Too faced shadow insurance and they stay all day long!

Well, thats my review of Coastal scents 88 warm palette! I hope you enjoyed this review and I'll be blogging more soon! I should be putting up some more tutorials and reviews soon! Have a great day everyone! :)
