Ulta Haul!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Thursday afternoon! I went to Ulta this afternoon and I wanted to share with you what I picked up, so lets get started:



First of all, Ulta is having a 40% off sale on all Revlon, Physician's Formula, NYX, and Almay makeup products until this Saturday (9/29/12) and so I wanted to pick up some things from Revlon, NYX, and Almay. But unfortunately, they were out of the NYX products I had wanted. So anyways, here's what I got:

The first thing I picked up is Revlon Colorburst lip butter in Berry Smoothie. I LOVE this shade! I think its perfect for Fall and its just a gorgeous color!

 I swatched all the lip colors together, so I'll put that up after you see all the lip products.


Next, I picked up Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Rosy Nude. This is another gorgeous shade!! Again perfect for Fall.

Next, I picked up Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in Rose Pearl. OMGosh this is such a gorgeous color!! Another color thats perfect for Fall. I am so in love with this shade!

The next product I picked up is the Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Pink Pursuit. This is a great pink shade, now this is a limited edition product so if you want it I suggest you pick it up soon! Anyways, I think of this color as a rosy pink shade becaue its not a true bright pink. Its a very subtle shade and I can't wait to use it!

The last lip product I picked up is Revlon super lustrous lipgloss in Peach Petal. This is a very soft light, neutral color that I think would look great with any lipstick for a nude look. I'm very excited to try this one out!

The next product I picked up is Almay get up and grow Mascara in blackest black. The reason I picked it up is because I need to find a mascara that doesn't clump but still gives me some length and volume. My dear friend Emily (emilynoel83 and www.beautybroadcast.net) has told me that this mascara is great and so I thought I'd give it a try!

I LOVE this applicator! I'm so excited to use it! :)



And finally, the very last product I got is the Revlon Colorstay smoky shadow stick in Smolder. I love these shades!! They are gorgeous, now granted you do have to apply them a little more than usual to get good pigmentation, but otherwise they are great! :)

Now because the revlon and almay products were 40% off here's the prices that I paid for each thing I got:



The revlon super lustrous lipglosses were $4.19 each
The revlon colorburst lipgloss was $4.49
The revlon colorburst lipstick was $5.39
The revlon colorburst lip butter was $4.49
The revlon colorstay smoky shadow stick was $5.39
The almay get up and grow mascara was $4.79


So altogether, I ended up paying with tax and a $5 off $15 or more coupon and I redeemed 100 rewards points to get an addtional $3.00 off plus the 40% off sale I paid $26.86 for 7 products! So by doing all that I saved about 50%!!!

Target Haul!

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great Wednesday afternoon! I just wanted to share with you some things I picked up at Target. So lets get started:


So as you all know I love the Glade room sprays and since the fall collection came out, I had to get a couple of them :)

The first one I got is in the scent Maple Pumpkin, which smells SO GOOD!!! I just about fell over when I smelled it, because it has that maple smell first then you get the pumpkin in there with it and OMGosh!! I just can't say enough good things about it and I can't wait to use it!

The next one I picked up is in the scent Apple Cinnamon, which also smells SO GOOD! It has that appley smell then you throw the cinnamon in with it and it just makes me think of Fall.

I picked these up for $2.99 each, but I had a $1.00 off coupon and a $2.00 off coupon that I used. So it made the total $0.99 each!! So really good price for both and I can't wait to use both of them this Fall season!

Thats it for this haul! I'll hopefully be going to Ulta tomorrow for their big 40% off sale that they are having on all NYX, Revlon, Physician's Formula and Almay products. September makeup favorites!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday evening! I'm sorry my September makeup favorites are so late, but life got in my way and such unfortunately. But anyways, better late than never :) Lets get started...

Lets start with face products first:

FACE:

• The first thing that I've been in love with the last few months and it has once again made it to my favorites list is the hard candy sheer envy skin perfecting face primer. I LOVE this primer, this is my third tube and I'm almost out of it again. It sells for $8.00 at Walmart and I love the way it diminishes my pores and gives me a "flawless" effect to my face.

• Next is the Lo'real True Match Lumi liquid foundation. I bought this last month and I just used it over the weekend for the first time since buying it and OMGosh I love it!!! Once I apply it and blend it in to my face, it doesn't feel like I have makeup on at all! Its so light and I'm really impressed with it! I got this at Ulta for $10.99. I just love it and can't wait to use it more! :)

• The last face product I have that is once again in my favorites list is the ELF translucent matifying face powder. I have been loving this face powder! I use it as a finishing powder after I've applied all my makeup and it sets it so well! Its not cakey or heavy at all and it sells for $3.00 at Target! You can't beat the product or the price in my book :)

Ok, the next group of favorites products is eyes:


EYES:

• The first product that I've been loving for about a year now is the too faced shadow insurance. This eye primer is great because it covers my veins on my lids and just gives me that evenness on my lids. I bought this at Sephora last year for $18.00 and I still have a lot of it left.

• Next, is the NYX jumbo eye pencil in iced mocha. I bought this recently and I just used it for the first time last Sunday and I absolutely LOVE it!! It makes my eyes pop and its just a gorgeous shade! :) I bought this at Ulta for $4.49.

• The next product that is on my favorites list is the Milani Baked Marbelized eyeshadow in Fusion. OMGosh!!! I am in LOVE with this shade!! Its absolutely gorgeous!! I used this last Sunday and I just love the plum shade, it makes brown eyes pop! I bought this at CVS for $6.99.

• The last product that is on my favorites list for eyes is the Covergirl lashblast volume mascara in blackest black. I really have been enjoying this mascara, it gives me good length and volume without clumping too bad. I bought this at Walgreens for $8.99.

The last group is lips:


LIPS:

• The only lip product that made the list this month is the Maybelline colorsensational lip color in born with it. I have been loving this lipstick!! I found that its my natural lip color but amped up a bit, so I've been really enjoying this shade! I've found that I have been reaching for this lipstick a lot more than usual :) I bought this at Ulta recently for $6.49.

Saturday makeup tutorial!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a fantastic Saturday afternoon! I wanted to share with you all my makeup look I created for today using a few new products I recently purchased! So lets get started:



FACE:

• Hard Candy Sheer Envy Skin perfecting face primer
• Lo'real True Match Lumi liquid foundation in W3 Nude Beige
• Milani Baked Blush in Coralina
• ELF translucent matifying face powder

EYES:

• Too Faced shadow insurance
• NYX jumbo eye pencil in Iced Mocha
• Milani marbelized eyeshadow in Fusion
• Covergirl eye enhancers 4 kit eyeshadow palette in sugar coated
• L.A. Girl Liquid eyeliner in black
• Covergirl Lash Blast Volume in blackest black

LIPS:

• Maybelline Colorsensational lip color in Born With It

So the first thing I did was I primed my eyes with too faced shadow insurance and I let that dry for 10 seconds, then I applied my NYX jumbo eye pencil in Iced Mocha to my lids. Then taking a flat shadow brush, I applied my Milani marbelized eyeshadow in fusion to my lids also. I then went to my covergirl eye enhancers 4 kit eyeshadow palette in sugar coated and I applied the dark brown shade to my crease using a fluffy crease brush. After I blended that out, I applied my L.A. girl liquid eyeliner in black to my upper lash line and then smudged it out with my sonia kashuk smudge brush. Then I applied my covergirl lashblast volume mascara in blackest black to my upper and lower lashes. Finally, I applied my maybelline colorsensational lip color in born with it to my lips to complete my entire look.

By the way, my head is shaved because of all the surgeries I've had in the past month so please no negative comments. Small CVS haul!

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday evening, I wanted to share with you a very small haul of a couple things I got at CVS. Let's get started:


So I have been looking for Milani Baked Blush at CVS and they seem to always be out of it, but I finally found it tonight!! I got the shade called Corailina, it's a gorgeous coral shade with golden shimmer.

And I picked up Milani Marbleized eyeshadow in Fusion. This shade is a plum with golden shimmer also.

I paid $13.60 for both products. I had a 20% off coupon and I got $3.00 in extra bucks to use in my next shopping trip! So I was excited that I saved $3.16 by using the 20% off coupon :)
