Walgreen's Haul numera dos.....

Hey Everyone!

I hope y'all are having a fantastic Thursday afternoon. I just wanted to share with you guys yet another small Walgreen's haul. So I went to Walgreen's actually looking for the Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips: Nude Eyes shadow palette, but it turns out that they don't carry Physician's Formula cosmetics. So I was bummed about that, but as I was walking out I saw these Sinful Colors Nail polishes for only $1.99!!!! So I bought a couple gorgeous colors! One is this white with hints of shimmer called Social Ladder and the other is this red with slight shimmer in it called Under 18, very pretty colors. Can't wait to try them out! Here are some pictures of the colors for you.

This is Under 18, its showing up alot darker than it really is. But it's really pretty!

This is Social Ladder. Its just a plain white with some shimmer in it, very pretty shade as well!

Well, thats it for my haul! I hope you guys have a great day! I'll be blogging again soon ;)

Makeup storage.....Re-organized!!

Hey guys,
I hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend! I'm so happy with my re-organized makeup storage! I have to say, it looks ten times better :) Before I bought these organizers, my makeup was just kind of not really organized at all. So I went to Target with my mom and bought those 3 drawer Sterilite boxes. I bought two of them so I could store my makeup samples and makeup wipes in one box also. The other one has my face products, eye products and lip products in it. Here are some pictures of my storage and what exactly is in them.

This one has all my makeup stored in it. I've put labels on the drawers and drawn pictures of what is in the drawer so I know exactly what's in it before I even open the drawer.

This one has my makeup samples and makeup wipes stored in it. I again have made labels for each drawer, so I know whats in it before I open it. The labels just save me the hassle of having to rifle through the drawers to see whats in it :) Here are the pictures of what is exactly in each of the drawers in both boxes.

This first drawer has all my face products. I have anything from foundation to concealer, bronzer and blush stored in here.

Next I have all my eye products. I have alot of Wet N wild palettes, a couple Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadows, a pencil eyeliner and a liquid eyeliner, my covergirl mascara. And some odds and ends eyeshadows from different brands.

And the last drawer of my makeup bin is obviously my lip products. As you can see, I don't have many lipsticks. I have a lip butter, and 3 colorburst lipsticks. I also have a Blistex chapstick that I got as a gift from a friend.

The next drawer stores all my makeup samples. I have covergirl foundation samples, face wash samples and a taylor swift perfume sample.

And the last drawer has all my makeup wipes in it. I have 3 Pond's wipes and two clean & clear wipes. I coudn't get a picture of that drawer, because my camera woudn't focus. So my apologies :)

This box I also purchased today at Target, I wanted to have a box that I could store my brush roll, extra brushes, and my makeup sponges.

This is what is inside the heart box. I have my crocodile patent brush roll, some brushes next to it that don't have a container to be stored in. And I have a little box filled with makeup sponges. Then that last little box at the top of the box has some more brushes in it.

Well, thats it! That's my entire makeup collection. It's not much and it's not very in-depth, I didn't tell you all the brands that I have in some of the drawers. I'll do a more in depth cover of my collection soon. I also wanted you guys to know that I am in no way, shape or form doing this to brag about how much makeup I have at all. I'm doing this because I know my readers will enjoy knowing what products I like and use, so they can go out shopping and know that they're buying a quality product. I might try and do a in depth video of my collection soon. Have a great night everyone!! :D

Primers, Eyeliners, Eyeshadows, and Mascara.......

Hey guys,

I hope you're having a good Friday evening. I just wanted to share with you what eyeshadow primer, my favorite large eyeshadow palette, eyeliner, and mascara I use on a daily basis. So lets get started....

  • The eyeshadow primer I use on a daily basis is Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I love this primer! Its not greasy, and it keeps my shadows from creasing. It costs me around $18.00 at Sephora.

  • One of my favorite eyeshadow palettes is The Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette.

  • My favorite pencil eyeliner is The Stila Eye Kajal in Tiger's Eye. This liner is SO creamy, and it glides so smoothly onto your lids. I love it!!

  • My favorite liquid liner that I have is L.A. Girl Fineline in Black. This liner glides on very smooth onto my lids, its very creamy. I really like it, I haven't used it very much yet but I'll do a more in depth review when I've used it a little more.

  • My favorite mascara that I use religiously is CoverGirl Professional all in one Mascara in very black. This mascara is really good, the only con I have about it is that it kind of clumps my lashes together. The wand I feel is unique because it's a curved brush. I like that it's not a very wet formula. I feel that it's in between wet and dry formula. Its a great mascara otherwise!

Well, I think that's it for this post. Feel free to leave comments, questions for me if you have any. I welcome tips on how I can improve my blog, so feel free to leave those as well! :) I hope y'all have a fantastic Friday night! ;)

Walgreens Haul...

Hey guys! I hope y'all are having a wonderful Thursday afternoon. I just wanted to share with you what I purchased on my shopping trip to Walgreens today. I was also really excited about this shopping trip because everything I got was buy 1 get 1 50% off! Anyways, lets get started....

The first thing I picked up was the Maybelline Color tattoo eyeshadows. The shades I got are tough as taupe and bad to the bronze. I really like these shadows, they are so creamy and they go on your lids very nice. These were buy 1 get the second one 50% off, so I paid $6.99 for one and I paid $3.50 for the second one.

                                                                      Tough as Taupe

                                                                     Bad to the bronze

The next thing I got was Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sunlight. I really like this bronzer, I've heard great things about it. It's just a matte bronzer, very creamy. This bronzer was also buy 1 get the second one 50% off. I paid $6.49 for the first one and $3.24 for the second one.

Next, I got the Clean & Clear oil free facial cleansing makeup wipes. My mom suggested these wipes to me, so I thought I'd try them because they are oil free. I have the Pond's makeup wipes and I really like those, so I hope I like these just the same. They were buy 1 get 1 50% off, so I paid $6.49 for one and $3.25 for the second one. Excellent price I think :)

The last thing is something my mom picked up for me when we went to walgreen's together this morning. I got another got2b hair product. Its the Got2b Smooth Operator Lustre Lotion. This was 2/$5.99 and if you bought one, you get the second one FREE!! So of course, we picked up two :) I can't wait to try this on my hair! I'll be doing a review on it in a few months :)

So that's it for my Walgreen's haul! As I said, I'll be reviewing products soon :) Have a great day!!

New Hair products.....

Hey guys, so I've been wanting this Got2b Guardian Angel Gloss Finish Flat iron balm. You spray it on before you flat iron your hair and it's supposed to keep the flat iron from frying your hair. So today, my mom was really sweet and she bought it for me at Walgreen's :) I can't wait to start using this stuff! It looks like its going to be a great product! Once I've used it for a while, I'll give you guys my ultimate opinion with a review on it.

It's supposed to protect your hair up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. So we'll see if it works :) I'll be posting more of the products that I have in my collection and I'll be reviewing them as well very soon! Have a great night y'all!!

My collective haul from January 2012....

Hey guys, So I said I was going to do a haul for the things I picked up at Ulta last month. So lets get started....

Everything I had on my list I've wanted for a long time. The first thing I picked up was Benefit's Hervana Blush. This blush is GORGEOUS!!! A sales lady applied it on my cheeks, and OMG it looked AMAZING!! I just love it!

Next thing I picked up was a Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle. This is a very nice kind of pinky plum shade. I really like it!

The third thing I got was an Eco Tools Recycled Retractable Kabuki brush. I really, really like this brush. Its super soft, and great for traveling.

Next I got another brush from eco tools. It's the Eco Tools smudge eyeliner brush. This is a great brush for making that "outer v shape" in the outer corner of your eye. I really like this brush, its more stiff than the kabuki, which is good for what I'm using it for. But overall, it's a really great brush!

The last thing I got were these Studio Basics eyeshadow applicators. These are great to have when you don't have a brush handy, they work just as well as a brush does I think :)

So that's it for my haul from January. I'll be going to Ulta again soon, so that haul will be posted soon. Have a great night everyone!

Wet N Wild Swatches.....

Hey Guys! I hope ya'll are having a great Tuesday! I FINALLY was able to get the Silent Treatment Wet N Wild palette swatch for you. My camera actually focused in on all the shades :)

So these are the swatches for the Silent Treatment palette. I know you can barely see the top light pink shade, but it's there I promise :) I just love all these colors! They are SO pigmented, especially the dark plum shade for the crease. This palette is great for an evening out, or just hanging around the house. Ok, so that's it for this post. I'll be posting more pictures and swatches of my makeup collection hopefully later today. And I'll be posting a Haul of the things I bought on a Ulta shopping trip back in January also hopefully today. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Wet N Wild palette swatches....

Happy Monday everyone! Ok, so here are the swatches from my Wet N Wild palettes that I have. Please forgive the poor camera quality.

                                                                          Vanity Swatches

                                                                Walking on Eggshells Swatches

So unfortunately, I couldn't get my camera to focus in on the swatches for the Silent Treatment palette so I don't have those swatches to show you. Hopefully, I can get them soon :) So that's it for this post, I'll be posting pictures of looks I did with each palette soon! Have a great night everyone!

My favorite scent.....

So I got this set as a gift from a dear friend of mine. It's the Bath and Body Works Holiday Traditions Vanilla Bean Noel body lotion, anti-bacterial gentle foaming hand soap, anti-bacterial deep cleansing hand soap, anti-bacterial moisturizing hand lotion, and the anti-bacterial hand gel. This stuff smells SO good! It smells like Vanilla cake. I LOVE it!!!

                                                                    Body Lotion

                                             Hand lotion

                                    Gentle foaming Hand Soap

                                    Deep Cleansing hand soap

                                              Hand Gel

I just LOVE this stuff!! I'm not sure if it's still available at the store since it was from Christmas, I couldn't find it on the website so I don't know if its still available for purchase in the store. Well, thats it for this post. I'll be taking pictures of the Wet N Wild palettes and swatching them for you today and they will hopefully be up later today. Have a great Monday!

Cupcake makeup bag? YES!!!

Ok, so I was looking online yesterday for a bag for my extra brushes that don't have a brush roll and I came across this online shop called GooJaya. This shop has everything cupcake! From makeup bags to brush rolls to who knows what other cupcake stuff there is :)

Makeup Brush Roll Cupcake - The BFF

This brush roll is SO cute, is it not?! I LOVE, LOVE this pattern!! It looks like the brushes stay put in their little sleeves, which is good.

I think they should stay in their little sleeves really well :)

Then it all rolls up into this travel friendly, cute little brush roll. And the price is actually not that bad, a little pricey but not bad. The brush roll will cost $15.00.

Rectangular Cosmetic Bag Cupcake - The Primper

Next, I found this great makeup bag. It again, has that cute cupcake pattern and it's a rectangular shape. Which is great, because you can fit alot of products in it.

It looks very roomy, which is wonderful because it will be great for travel.

Overall, I think this is a great bag! My favorite beauty guru Emily Eddington (aka emilynoel83) has a youtube video using this bag on the Goo Jaya website (www.goojaya.com). Anyways, this is a great makeup bag and its cost is pretty reasonable I think. This bag is $20.00.

So that's it for this post. Also, if you wanted to purchase either the brush roll or the makeup bag, I found them on www.etsy.com. Just type in the "search" bar "cupcake makeup" and all these great things will come up. Have a great day!!!

Welcome to BEAUTY BEAT......

Don't Steal my Thunder

Wet N Wild color icon eyeshadow trio in Don't steal my thunder. I love wet n wild color icon eyeshadow trios. They are so pigmented, rich and just AMAZING! I have 3 of them in Walking on Eggshells, Silent Treatment and Vanity.

                                                                         Silent Treatment

I love Silent Treatment because the colors are really gorgeous for an evening look. I used this palette a while ago for a wedding. I put the peachy-toned shade under my brow, the mauve/purple color on my entire lid and then topped it off with the shimmery dark maroon/reddish color in my outer corner and crease. It just made my look sultry and sexy.

                                                                 Walking On Eggshells

Walking on Eggshells is a great palette for an everyday, natural look. The colors are gorgeous! This is one of my favorite palettes! The creamy, champagne color is gorgeous under the brow. And the wood brown color is gorgeous in the crease. Lastly, the light pink color is AMAZING on the entire lid :) I used this palette for a "hanging around the house" look. I put the pinky color on my entire lid, then I swept the wood brown crease color in my outer corner and up into my crease. Then, I finished the look with the champagne color under my brow. It turned out to be really gorgeous, yet very natural.

                                                                     Vanity

Vanity is a gorgeous 6 color palette with the left side that has 3 totally matte shades and the right side has 3 shimmery shades. They are so amazing, very pigmented and rich! I haven't tried any looks with this palette, so I'm excited to give it a shot and try all the colors out.

So as the title said, welcome to my NEW blog BEAUTY BEAT!!!! I'm really, really excited about this change!! I'll be doing more blogs on this soon! I'm going to start blogging about beauty stuff but also doing my everyday "what's going on in my life" blogs. Because I just love makeup! I'll be posting more pictures like swatches and looks I did with the palettes soon!
