Wet n Wild Blue had me at hello eyeshadow palette tutorial....

Hey Everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Monday morning. I just wanted to share with you another tutorial using my favorite brand Wet n Wild!! I'll be using Wet n wild's Blue had me at hello eyeshadow palette. I used only 2 shades because I wanted it to be a nice spring look. Lets get started...

FACE:

  • Smashbox Photo Finish light face primer
  • Milani Multi-tasker Face powder
  • Sei Bella Tinted moisturizer in fawn
  • Benefit Hervana blush

EYES:

  • Too Faced Shadow insurance
  • Wet n wild blue had me at hello eyeshadow palette
  • Covergirl professional all in one mascara in Blackest Black

LIPS:

  • Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Petal

Ok, here's the tutorial:

The first thing I did was I primed my eyes with Too faced shadow insurance. After I let that dry for 10 seconds, I went straight to my wet n wild blue had me at hello palette. I took a flat eyeshadow brush and applied the teal shade on the right side of the palette over my entire lid. Then I took a crease brush and applied the silvery shade (1 shade down from the top) on the left side of the palette to my crease. And I blended that all out. To complete my eye look I applied covergirl professional all in one mascara in blackest black to my top and bottom lashes. To complete my entire face makeup I applied revlon colorburst lipstick in petal to my lips.

And that completes the look! It's really easy and simple. I hope y'all enjoyed this tutorial and I hope you will try it out. Have a great day everyone!

Physician's Formula Nude eyes eyeshadow palette review...

Hey Everyone! Happy Easter! Jesus is risen today! I hope y'all are having a wonderful Easter Sunday with your families. I wanted to share with you a review on Physician's Formula nude eyes eyeshadow palette. Lets get started...

Ok, so first of all this palette is gorgeous! The shades are so pretty and I believe that this is a dupe for the very expensive Urban decay naked 2 palette! So lets weigh the "pros" of this palette first:

Pros:

  • Really pretty colors
  • Great shade selection
  • Packaging is ADORABLE!
  • Inexpensively priced
  • Very travel-friendly

Now for the "cons" of the palette:

Cons:

  • Pigmentation isn't great

I love this palette overall except for that the pigmentation isn't wonderful. I really have to sweep my brush over the color I want numerous times before I feel that I get good color pay off. I guess I'm just used to the AMAZING pigmentation of the Wet n Wild palettes, so I was somewhat disappointed in the Physician's Formula palette because of that lack of pigmentation. But overall, its a really great palette and I suggest that every woman should have this palette in their collections! And honestly, the pros outweigh the cons so I can deal with a lack of pigmentation for all the positive things about this palette.

Well, thats it for my review of the Physician's Formula nude eyes palette! I hope y'all enjoyed this review and I hope you will pick this palette up. You can purchase this at CVS and Ulta, I picked mine up at CVS when they had their 40% off sale last month so I was able to get it for only $7.29! Its normally priced at $11.29, so I thought that was a great price! Have a great night everyone! Keep your eyes out for more reviews and tutorials coming soon! :)

Coastal Scents 88 Warm eyeshadow palette review!!

Hey everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday afternoon! Today, I wanted to share with you a long overdue review of Coastal Scents 88 warm eyeshadow palette. I bought this palette last year with some birthday money and I have to say I'm LOVING this palette!! For $24.95 you get 88 gorgeous shades! Anywhere from cream shades to satin to matte to shimmer shades, this palette has it all! I've only used a few shades, but each of the colors are great!

Ok, so over to the far left of the palette you can see that there a mixture of white and silvery shades. Then in the next column you see more peachy and some green shades, also at the end of the third row on the left you can see that there is a great matte black. Next, in the fourth and fifth columns you see that there are more warm brown shades and some purple shades. As you move through the palette towards the far right of the palette, you get into some dark brown and plum shades. In the palette there are about half matte shades and the rest are shimmer, satin and cream shades.

Overall, I LOVE this palette! For the price, its a great buy! The staying power of these shades is great! I apply with Too faced shadow insurance and they stay all day long!

Well, thats my review of Coastal scents 88 warm palette! I hope you enjoyed this review and I'll be blogging more soon! I should be putting up some more tutorials and reviews soon! Have a great day everyone! :)

Physician's Formula Nude Eyes eyeshadow palette tutorial!!!

Hey everyone! So I created this look today using the NEW Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Nude eyes eyeshadow palette! I really like this look, its kind of a smoky look but very wearable for daytime :) So lets get started...

As always I'll list the products I used for my entire makeup look and then I'll get into the tutorial....

Here's the products I used for my face makeup:

FACE:

  • Smashbox Photo finish light face primer
  • Milani Multi-tasker face powder
  • Sei Bella Tinted moisturizer in Fawn
  • Benefit Hervana Blush

Here's the products I used for my eye makeup:

EYES:

  • Too Faced Shadow insurance
  • Physician's Formula Nude eyes palette
  • Stila eye kajal eyeliner pencil in Tiger's eye
  • Covergirl professional all in one mascara in blackest black

And finally, here's the products I used on my lips:

LIPS:

  • Sun Shades Lip balm in Vanilla bean

Ok, here's the tutorial:

So the first thing I did was I primed my eyes with too faced shadow insurance eye primer, then I went to my physician's formula nude eyes eyeshadow palette and taking a flat eyeshadow brush I applied the light brown shade (1 shade down from the pearly white shade at the top). Next I took a crease brush and I applied the light pearly purple shade to my crease (5 shades down from the white shade at the top) and then I blended that out. Next I applied Stila eye kajal eyeliner pencil in Tiger's eye to my upper and lower lash line and I took a Q-tip and smudged that liner out to make a "smoky" look. I then applied Covergirl professional all in one mascara in blackest black to my top and bottom lashes. Lastly to complete my entire look, I applied to my lips sun shades lip balm in vanilla bean. And the staying power of these shades is GREAT! I applied my makeup at 10am this morning and probably won't take it off until at least 8:30pm tonight. I just checked to see how it stayed throughout the day and my eye makeup looks fresh still! So, I'm very impressed with these shadows! A review will be coming on this palette very soon! :)

And thats it! It's really simple and yet natural. I hope y'all enjoyed this tutorial and I hope y'all will try it out! :) More tutorials and reviews coming soon, so watch for those! Have a great night!

Sephora Wish List....

Hey Everyone!!! I was inspired by emilynoel83's (beauty broadcast) post of her Sephora wishlist items, so I thought I would share my Sephora wishlist items. Lets get started....

  • Benefit Legally Bronze kit, $38.00

This kit is awesome! It includes a full size Hoola Bronzer, High beam, a highlighting pencil and mascara in brown. I mean this is a great kit, the hoola bronzer alone is $28.00!! So that is just great! Because for $10.00 more you're getting 3 more products in addition to the hoola bronzer. So I think would be a great buy!!

  • Too Faced primed and poreless face primer, $30.00

I've heard great things about this primer and I LOVE Too Faced shadow insurance, so I thought I would probably really like this too! I can't wait to go purchase it sometime! It's supposed to make your pores go away and it has Retinol in it so it fights acne! Which is great, so I'm excited for this primer!

  • Too Faced Natural at night eyeshadow palette, $36.00
Ever since I saw emilynoel83's tutorial with this palette I fell in love with it!! The shades are gorgeous and they are great for obviously going out at night!! So I can't wait to go out and purchase this palette! It looks amazing!

  • Urban Decay Naked palette, $50.00

I know everyone has this palette already, but I have yet to purchase this!!! I love the shades in it and you get a mini urban decay primer potion along with a good karma brush! And 12 gorgeous shades!! I've seen many tutorials with this palette and I've seen countless reviews as well. My mom makes fun of me for how much eyeshadow I have, but I just keep collecting more and more! I have mostly wet n wild and I have the Coastal scents 88 warm palette, also I just picked up the physician's formula nude eyes palette and so the naked palette would be a great addition to my collection!! So I hope I can purchase this soon!

Well, thats it for my Sephora wishlist! I hope you have a great night y'all!!

CVS Haul!!!

Hey everyone! I just got back from CVS and I wanted to share with you my haul of what I got. Lets get started...

I went there to look at 3 items, but I ended up only purchasing one thing. I got Physician's Formula shimmer strips nude eyes eyeshadow palette!! It was on sale for 40% off the original price! So I ended up only paying $7.29 for it :) And I got $7.00 in extrabucks! I love the shades in this palette because you can make a dramatic look or a natural look. Its a very versatile palette!

Anyways, the reason I got it was because it's been classified as a dupe for the expensive Urban Decay Naked 2 palette! So I can't wait to try it out and show you some tutorials! I'll probably do a tutorial with it on Saturday, so keep your eyes out for that!

Well that's it for my haul!! Have a great day!
